Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Support the team in engaging closely with the business units in a wide variety of IoT projects from ideation to realization with a focus on backend cloud architecture design, review and assessments
  • Deliver Proof-of-Concept (PoC) IoT projects with fast prototyping and iteration
  • Collaborate with the appropriate internal teams or other departments to support promotional activities, e.g. conducting roadshow events, classroom training or demonstration, organizing hackathons

Requirements:

  • Strong software development skills in one or more of the following: Java, HTML5, REST, JSON, Angularjs, Javascript, Ionic, MongoDB, SQL databases
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies and microservices architecture designs
  • Familiar with agile methods in software development, knowledge of DevOps and continuous delivery etc
  • Able to work and have good understanding of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively and independently among virtual and international teams

Eligibility:

  • Applicant must be enrolled throughout internship period, or plan to pursue further studies
  • For foreign students studying in Singapore on Student's Pass, you must fulfill the following requirements to be able to do full-time internship during the school term:
  • You are a full-time matriculated or registered student in one of the approved institutions.
  • You hold a Student Pass issued by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA).
  • The internship is under an industrial attachment programme conducted by your university or educational institution. The industrial attachment can be either compulsory or elective but it must contribute towards your graduation requirements.
