Technical Pre-sales Job Description
RightCloud is seeking a pre-sales consultant to join our Singapore sales team to support and drive all elements of the sales process. Your role will primarily be focused on the technical areas of the sales process, responsible for eliciting and analysing customer requirements and mapping it to our service offering. The pre-sales consultant needs to have strong presentation skills, and are capable of building demonstrations to showcase the proposed solutions to our prospects.
Technical pre-sales will be reporting to our Chief Solutions Architect and the Director of Sales.
You will be working with a fast-growing $10M business with venture funding, with opportunities of working alongside with IT industry leaders such as Google, Microsoft and Amazon.
Key Responsibilities:
· Engage with customers to understand their requirements and critical business challenges
· Architect a solution vision and evangelize how the solution addresses their technical and business needs
· Presentation of company’s solutions to all levels of the prospects' organisation
· Develop and present customised demos of the company’s product to showcase the differentiators.
· Responsible for delivering technical content for RFP responses.
· Work closely with the sales team to define a technical sales strategy for each prospect.
· Ensures proactive communication with customers to ensure customer satisfaction
· Taking the lead in working with solution architects to define the complete customer solution.
· Develop lasting relationships with customers and partners.
Ideal Candidate:
· Fresh graduate from any disciplines, preferably from Information Technology/Computer Science.
· Skills around the Public Cloud would be advantage
· Experience in sales would be an advantage.
· Comfortable with meeting and interacting customers.
· Driven and keen to learn public cloud technologies, Big Data Analytics and IOT technologies.
· Willing to learn the process of sales cycle.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Highly motivated and self-driven with the ability to learn fast and think on your feet
· Strong ability to map customer requirements to a solution approach.
