Rex Marine & Engineering Pte Ltd – HR Assistant

Our company undertakes turnkey project for Heating, Ventilation, Airconditioning & Refrigeration in the Marine/ Oil & Gas Industry.

We provide from Project management, design, fabrication, installation to full commissioning. Projects undertaken include Singapore, Indonesia Batam, UAE, China. Our company core business is also in repairs & maintenance in the related field which dates back since 1973.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the HR Department in the full spectrum of HR functions

-Administer application/ renewal/ cancellation of work pass in WPOL

-Prepare HR letters (Employment contract, confirmation etc)

-Update and maintain accurate records of employees’ personal files

- Identify workers due for trade course renewal (SSIC/ hotwork) &

  update course schedule

- Perform data entry for leave, medical leave and claims

-Administer staffs claims (overseas & local)

- Arrange of visa application, airticket, hotel & travel insurance

- Handle all employees queries on HR matters

-Perform other HR/ Admin related ad-hoc duties as and when assigned

-Work closely with different Dept Managers

Requirements:

-Certificate/ Diploma in HRM or equivalent

- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience

-Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word)

-Meticulous & possess high integrity & initiative
