Job Description

ROLE / JOB SUMMARY:

  • Lead a team of Quality Customer Assurance & Failure Analysis Engineers
  • Work with Regional M&S to resolve Customer Complains & issues & Failure analysis.
  • Monitor and track and drive improvements in quality indices such as PPM, Quality Alerts and CARs.
  • Lead customer audits and visits.
  • Manage energy yield center and benchmarking site to gain insights to in-field performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Customer Claims Resolution
    • Work with regions’ Technical Product Managers to resolve field claims. This includes performing Failure Analysis and even field visits to customer sites/installations.
    • Process the field claims in a timely manner for resolution.
    • Warranty management by continuously developing warranty modelling and cost.
    • Monitor quality indices and work to improve year and year through active programs
  • Provide field performance feedback to operations and R&D so that continuous improvement can be planned. Such feedback means data analysis or analytics to gain insights to large amount of data. Working with Operations, identifying areas of improvement or solution development.
  • Be the customer touch point towards the factory operations. This includes hosting customer visits and audits to drive customer assurance in the product.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor/Master/Phd in Engineering, Science, Mathematics
  • Knowledge of solar systems and monitoring techniques or data analytics.
  • Trained & conversant in quality tools and/or quality systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skilled in preparing/writing technical reports or technical papers.
  • Ability to interface and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams as well as external stake holders and external auditors.
  • Innovative towards problem solving and solution development.
  • Working experience in Solar/Semiconductor/Electronics manufacturing industry is advantageous.

ADDITIONAL ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS:

  • Having prior work experience in Quality / Engineering and Design.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong belief in driving for quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Prior experience in solar/ pv system’s design or construction or maintenance
