The research team of REAPRA is hiring a Market Analysis Research Intern to conduct research using macro-economics, intellectual property- and business-related intelligence to guide and direct investment decisions. This multi-dimensional role will enable you to learn new research methodologies, sharpen your analytical skills and gain experience in working with startups and investments.
Responsibilities include:
- Formulating research hypothesis on potential promising business fields, particularly in SE Asia
- Conducting data analyses and data collection systems to validate research hypothesis
- Systematically deriving business insights from analyses across a range of data sets
- Compiling and analyzing statistical data through a variety of collection methods
- Designing and conducting surveys to support data-driven decision making
- Constructing and managing spreadsheets
- Presenting research findings in a clear and concise manner
Minimum Qualifications:
- Have or pursuing an undergraduate or graduate diploma in any discipline
- Solid logical, technical, and quantitative abilities
- Strong analytical and academic background
- Conscientious and resourceful
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Character of integrity, inventiveness, and inquisitiveness
- Self-starter who can work proactively, independently and collaboratively
- Adaptable and comfortable working in unstructured environments
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Fluent written, spoken, and reading capability in English
- Experience in any programming language or software for data analysis (e.g Java, R, Python, Matlab, JavaScript SPSS, or SAS.)
- Experience with SQL or Google Sheets Query Language
