We are looking for an IT Intern to assist in our day to day operations and get a hands-on experience working in a growth start up environment. The IT Intern will report to the Technology Director to carry out the tasks and responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in project management of website/web app SDLC
- Join the development team to develop WordPress websites and Laravel web apps
- Perform requirements gathering, change request and enhancement
- Manage and liaise with clients for IT maintenance and customer servicing
- Brainstorm creative tech ideas with product development
- Report and assist Technology Director in day to day tasks
- Other ad-hoc duties
What we are looking for:
- Strong web project management skills
- Excited about and good in web development functions such as PHP, Ubuntu, MySQL, HTML, CSS and Javascript
- Basic knowledge on web server environment (linux)
- Knowledge on mobile app development, Laravel framework and WordPress CMS is a plus
- Motivated individual with big passion in technological scene
- Interest in big data, AI, machine learning will be a plus
