Purchaser Intern
As Rapsodo continues to grow and expand our business in Asia and internationally, we are looking for a Purchasing Intern to support purchasing activities by monitoring inventory movement and reconciling supplies. We are looking for a hardworking and self-motivated Purchasing Intern with the opportunity for full-time conversion to an Assistant Purchaser / Purchaser position.
Responsibilities:
- Support purchasers in determining inventory levels of processes in organisation and develop plans to meet targeted goals to minimize excess inventory and end of life products
- Assist in buying parts from suppliers and distributors to support factory build plan
- Handling of internal Purchase Order (PO) and sales order for internal company finishing goods delivery
- Assist in performing Goods Receive Notice (GRN) when parts are delivered to the Contract Manufacturer (CM)
- Support purchasers in periodically reconciling any discrepancies of parts and sub assembly in the factory and Rapsodo’s Manufacturing Release Planning (MRP)
Requirements:
- Diploma in Business/ Supply chain / Engineering or a related fields
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Hardworking and self-motivated team player with strong-interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and comfortable with numbers
- Interest in a career in supply chain management
- Availability to convert to full-time upon completion of internship programme without any significant disruptions
