We are looking for a highly-motivated, self-driven Communications Intern to join our team. If you’re creative, gung-ho and is a social butterfly, you’ll have the opportunity to work on impactful global and local projects as well as gain exposure to the media and social media landscape.
Job Description
Job Scope
- Media engagement and monitoring - Develop media pitching angles, media pitching, draft press releases, prepare media interview briefing documents, update media list, prepare media coverage and analysis reports
- Content development - Creative brainstorm, perform subject research, draft articles for job seekers, design/adapt creative assets for media and social media, creative copywriting for social media and email marketing campaigns
- Regional communications liaison - Participate in local and regional meetings, collaborate with marketing teams in Asia Pacific to ensure continuous sharing of content and press materials as well as timely social media posting.
Requirements
- Has tertiary background or work experience in communications, public relations or journalism
- Strong command of English with outstanding writing skills
- Great computer skills and strong familiarity with social media
- Has experience working on Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
- Quick learner who listens and ask questions
- Positive disposition and able to play well with others
- Is a news-junkie
