Quek & Quek Civil Engineering Pte Ltd – Workplace Safety & Health Officer cum Environment Control Officer

Job Responsibility

1. Ensure compliance with government health, safety and environmental regulations. Enforce all safety requirements and in-house safety rules
2. Continuous improvement on the EHS system through the effective implementation of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 1800 management standards
3. On-sites monitoring and conducting regular safety inspections on construction work site
4. Identify and recommend best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practices.
5. Provide technical advice, coaching, guidance and mentoring to the WSH team on safety initiatives and necessary changes
6. Implement practical pollution control measures, material wastage control and 3-R programs to safeguard the environment
7. Carry out training to all workers, staff and site personnel

Requirements

1. Registered WSHO and ECO with minimum 5 years of working experience in a construction firm
2. Familiar with the safety, health and environmental legislations as well as risk management procedure
3. Familiar with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ConSASS and GGBS
4. Be dynamic, self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented
5. Specialist Diploma in WSH, awarded by SSG and conducted by Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore Polytechnic, BCA Academy, NTUC Learning Hub
