Qiyu Boutique – Sales Assistance

QIYU Boutique (奇遇精品) is a retail gift shop located in the heart of Singapore’s Chinatown, specialising in traditional Chinese-style handmade gifts, calligraphy, artworks, and cultural souvenirs. We are a small, passionate team dedicated to preserving and promoting Chinese culture through unique, meaningful gifts and personalised services. We strive to provide a welcoming shopping experience for both local and international customers.

We are looking for a friendly, responsible, and motivated Retail Sales Assistant to join our team located in Singapore's Chinatown.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day retail store operations and maintenance.

• Assist customers with product enquiries, recommendations, and purchases.

• Provide friendly and professional customer service to local and international customers.

• Promote and sell traditional Chinese-style gifts, calligraphy, artworks, and souvenirs.

• Handle cashier duties, payment transactions, and daily sales records.

• Maintain store cleanliness, organise merchandise, and ensure attractive product displays.

• Monitor inventory levels, replenish stock, and assist with stocktaking.

• Assist with packing, gift wrapping, and preparing customer orders.

• Perform other store-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Friendly, approachable, and customer-oriented.

• Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Basic English communication skills; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

• Willing to learn about our products and Chinese cultural gifts.

• Able to work on weekends and public holidays when scheduled.
