SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
The Intern for the Mobile Development team will work alongside a seasoned ITprofessional supporting and building mobile solutions on a daily basis at QiXiang Technology. Learn IT best practices by working with a technical mentor.Some of the areas that the intern will be involved in are: requirements,design, development, testing, deployment, troubleshooting.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Under the supervision of assigned technical lead, the position will:

• Hands on software design and development for iOS and  Android applications.
• Mobile hybrid application development. 
• Work on maintenance or enhancements projects.
• Participate in all aspects of the software development  life cycle (Agile or Waterfall) and working with project team.
• May be part of the team developing large scale responsive web / mobile application using Mobile development framework for various screen/device/digital touch point variations.

EDUCATION:

• Must be actively pursuing a graduate degree in Information Technology or Computer Science

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be actively pursuing a degree at an accredited educational institution.
• Must have at least 1 year of academic undergraduate studies completed or a sophomore status at minimum.
• Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
•  
• Available to work a minimum of 40 hours per week   between the days/hours: Monday-Friday, 10am-7pm
• Experience / Knowledge of Web Framework such as Ionic, PhoneGap, REST, HTML5, CSS, Angular.
• Experience / ability to develop design documentations, development, testing, deployment and support artefacts.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience/ knowledge of tool chains such as Jenkins, Bitbucket.
• Experience / knowledge of iOS development or Android development
• Experience with Azure Microsoft Cloud Services
• Prior experience with entire software development  lifecycle – requirements analysis, design, development, and testing).
• Specific interest or desire to work in the F&B tech industry.

COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
