Pure Senses Pte Ltd – Data Architect Intern

Responsibilities: 

• Acts as data analyst, translating business needs into a data model, providing expertise on data modeling tools and techniques for designing data models for applications and systems.
• Analyzes all functionality requests for compatibility with the current data model.
• Assists with the mapping of frontline data values to backend data fields.
• Responsible for consolidating, transforming, and migrating data of large volumes of from different source systems.
• Design and develop scripts.
• Assist in analysis of legacy files, matching of data and validating data.

Requirements:

• Diploma or BS in Computer Science or related technical field required.
• Familiar with scripting like R, PHP, SQL and cloud computing techniques is preferred.
• Previous commercial experience, preferably in the retail sector.
• Some related work experience in the field of data management, marketing analytics, and technology.
• Understand data processing, i.e. Extract/Transform/Load.
• Good communication and written skills.
• Experience with the full development life cycle of an application stack - from architecture through test and deployment.
• Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations.
• Organized, detail-oriented, etc.
• Proficient in system architectures (translating application design to operational requirements).
