Purpose Statement
As a data driven individual this role will work to support our technology team to deliver scalable solutions that provide real-word business value. In addition to building solutions, you must possess the aptitude and hunger to learn. As an energetic data scientist you will be responsible for understanding requirements and developing practical business solutions.
Key Activities & Behaviours
i. Operations/ Professional/ Business
- Ownership of technical designs, code development, and component test execution to demonstrate alignment to the functional specification.
- Lead and deploy Java code using configuration management and integration/build automation tools.
- Support defining and evaluating application architecture by applying knowledge of common, relevant architecture frameworks.
- Performing code reviews and providing critical suggestions for fixes and improvements
- Supporting issue analysis and fix activities during test phases, as well as production issue resolution.
- Fixing and performance tuning Java-based applications.
- Demonstrating and develop a broad set of technology skills in Java technologies, micro service design patterns, Open Source libraries and frameworks, and technology architecture concepts.
