Job Description

Human Resource (HR) Intern

Reporting directly to the Human Resource Manager, the HR Intern is required to support the HR Department in the full spectrum of Human Resource (HR) functions.

Responsibilities

The job functions include but not limited to : -

1) Recruitment & Selection Process:

  • Posting of job advertisements
  • Screening of resumes
  • Coordinating and arranging for interviews
  • Attending and collecting of documents from candidates
  • Attending interviews
  • Proposing potential candidates to Management for approval

2) Onboarding Process

  • Calling candidates to offer the position
  • Arranging for commencement date
  • Preparing of Letter of Appointment
  • Following up on contract signing
  • Coordinating with respective departments to prepare for candidate’s first day of work
  • Conducting orientation

3) Payroll Process

  • Verifying of Contract For Service Timesheet
  • Verifying of OT hours / Taxi claims

4) Offboarding Process

  • Handling employee exit process

5) Event Coordination

  • Supporting the planning and coordination of our Company events (e.g. Morning Parade, Christmas Special, etc)
  • Sourcing for videos and preparing PowerPoint slides

6) Attendance & Punctuality

  • Monitoring and maintaining employee attendance records

 

7) Administrative Support

  • Providing support in HR automation projects.
  • Performing data entry into HR system.
  • Handling daily HR administrative roles.
  • Filing and organizing of documents.
  • Maintaining employees’ records (e.g. update new joiners, update personnel files, etc)
  • Performing any other HR matters / projects as and when assigned

Requirements

  • Diploma in Human Resource / Business or its other equivalent
  • Fresh graduates or interns are welcomed.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Have good communication and writing skills
  • Meticulous and possesses great initiative
  • Prepared to work in a fast-paced environment

Working Hour
Monday to Fridays: 8.30am to 6.00pm
