Job Description

Job Title: Operations Intern

Department: Operations

Location: Woodlands, Singapore

Duration: Winter/Spring/Summer/Fall Internship, Minimum commitment of 3 months

Reports to: Operations Manager


The Operations Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the organization. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of operations, including process improvement, project management, and team collaboration. The intern will work closely with the Operations Manager and other team members to ensure the smooth functioning of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Improvement: Assist in reviewing and optimizing existing operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to operations, helping to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Project Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the planning, execution, and monitoring of various projects
  • Documentation: Maintain and update operational documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process manuals
  • Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels, ensuring products and supplies are readily available
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to facilitate the flow of information within the organization
  • Administrative Tasks: Provide administrative support as needed, including data entry, scheduling, and document management
  • Ad hoc Tasks: Assist with various ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Communications or a related field (different fields are welcome as well)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Self-motivated and a quick learner.
  • Team player with a proactive attitude.
  • Willingness to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
