Full-Time Private Home Tutor (IB – English, Math and Chinese)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time tutor to provide comprehensive academic support in English, Math, and Chinese for two students (Grade 2 and Grade 6) enrolled in the Canadian International School. The ideal candidate will possess international school experience and be well-versed in the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons tailored to the individual learning needs of a Grade 2 and Grade 6 student in English, Math, and Chinese.
- Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment conducive to academic growth and personal development.
- Provide guidance and support to help the students achieve their academic goals and excel academically.
- Incorporate creative teaching methods and resources to enhance learning outcomes and student engagement.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, or any relevant field.
- Previous experience working as a private tutor or teacher in an international school setting.
- Strong proficiency in English, Math, and Chinese, with a solid understanding of the IB curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching and helping students succeed.
- Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, with occasional flexibility (40-45 hours per week).
