We are looking for a front-end developer to join our local team as an intern. The primary focus of this developer will be to build new features and enhance our existing web platform.
- Experience working in a disruptive startup, and pick up entrepreneurial skills along with the secret to a successful startup
- Learn about the operations of a startup company
Your Task:
- Develop new user-facing features.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Assure that all user inputs are validated before submitting to the back-end.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
- Knowledge of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
- Understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery.
- Knowledge of AngularJS.
- Knowledge of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
- Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as Sketch & Photoshop is a plus.
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
