Job Description

Pratt and Whitney offers a internship program that is designed to provide students valuable experience in a leading US MNC. This internship is for full-time students enrolled in an accredited university and or Polytechnic

The Human Resources Centre of Excellence is looking for a talented, driven and meticulous intern to join the Total Rewards function. The intern has the opportunity to be exposed to the different functions within Total Rewards - Benefits, Compensation, Wellness and HR Systems - and is involved in various routine Human Resource activities as well as special projects.

Total Rewards

  1. Assist the Total Rewards team with handling mid to high volume data collation and basic analytical work
  2. Provide support to the Total Rewards team to draft written correspondences as needed on various projects including but not limited to the implementation of HR applications and systems, Benefits and Compensation programs design and implementation, Annual Open Enrollment
  3. Assist with building and designing communication pack to increase understanding of and promote Total Rewards programs.
  4. Support the planning, coordination and delivery of programs and initiatives  
  5. Other duties as assigned.


Learning & Development

  1. Partner with site HR on pre and post-workshop preparation
  2. Develop and prepare learning aids, materials, course registration and/ or feedback tools
  3. Collate participant feedback and provide analysis
  4. Update and maintain training records database
  5. Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment


Talent & Workforce Planning

  1. End-to-end support on APAC regional level functional high potential selection, Professional Leadership Program Superday
  2. Support in recruitment of Engineering Graduate Program, with the intention to build future talent pipeline for Engineering function
  3. Administration/logistics support for APAC region HR visits and other visitors
  4. Administration and analysis support for APAC region workforce profiles and leadership review for Leadership Development Review (LDR) in Q1 2019


Required Skills

  • Talented & driven individual who possesses and inquisitive mind and keenness to learn
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
  • Meticulous  and strong analytical skills with ability to collect, organize and analyse significant amount of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication of spoken and written English  
  • Keen to work with multiple timelines with demonstrated success in this area
