Pratt and Whitney offers a internship program that is designed to provide students valuable experience in a leading US MNC. This internship is for full-time students enrolled in an accredited university and or Polytechnic
This internship role is to support the engineers on daily operations such as work instruction creation, process improvement and cost reduction projects.
- Through this internship, you will have the opportunity to:
- Assist engineers on tech data ballooning for IAT products
- Assist engineers on new product/repair development
- Generate drawing for tooling/fixture
- Generate work instructions using Solumina
- Support ACE activities Process Certification, Passport Process and 6S
- Review quality turn back data identify process improvement projects
- Assist engineers on process improvement project (3i)
- Review engine manual revision and update WI
Requirements
- Talented & driven individual who possesses and inquisitive mind and keenness to learn
- Engineering knowledge (ie GT&T, Drawing, Fixture/Tolling) - will be an advantaged
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Meticulous and strong analytical skills
- Good communication of spoken and written English
- Keen to work with multiple timelines
- Currently a full-time student with local institution
- Must be willing to work in the East
