PowerhouseAI – Android Developer Intern

• Design, build and maintain high-performance, reusable and reliable Java/Kotlin code.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate or Postgraduate who is currently pursuing a degree/master in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline from a university;
• Better understanding of OOPs concept, Java and/or Kotlin.
• Basic understanding of android application development and managing it`s lifecycle.
• Experience with Android SDK and strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Experience in design patterns mobile architecture using frameworks such as MVVM/MVC/MVP.
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.Experience working with Firebase APIs.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

Good to have:

• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.Android development with Kotlin.
• Familiarity with Google ARCore and Depth APIs.Machine learning using MLKit.
• Experience with testing frameworks like Junit, Mockito, Espresso.
