Job Description


To oversee and execute day to day marketing activities, event presentation and management, logistics supervision and customer service. The Wine & Whisky Marketing Intern will assist in implementing effective marketing communication campaigns using their knowledge of wine and whisky across various digital media channels. Wine & Whisky Marketing Intern will be responsible for attracting and managing wine and whisky events and on occasions presenting select events. Customer service is also an integral part of the role. The role requires a self starting attitude, communication, general business acumen, wine certification and knowledge and interest in whisky.  

The role reports to the Co-Founder and Marketing Manager and they will provide assistance and ongoing support.

General Responsibilities

  • Planning, developing and implementing effective marketing communication campaigns aimed at wine and whisky buyers with varying levels of knowledge
  • Managing and increasing wine sales on www.popupwine.com.sg , marketplaces, retailer and SAAS partners, and F&B clients, and Pop Up Wine’s new whisky website 
  • Writing copy for marketing collateral that requires wine and whisky knowledge, including facebook posts, email newsletters and campaigns
  • Competitor analysis
  • Maintaining and updating customer, wholesale, and supplier databases
  • Liaison with wine and whisky suppliers
  • Liaison with wholesale customers to increase and attract new business
  • Attend F&B client and corporate meetings
  • Organising, attending, and on occasions presenting wine & whisky events 
  • Customer support via email, FB messenger, Live Chat etc
  • Order delivery supervision when required
  • Liaison with sommeliers and other wine and shisky personnel

The Marketing and Events Intern position requires the intern to work an average of 1-4 evenings a week, including occasional weekend work. Any after hours work will be compensated with time off in lieu which the intern can accumulate for enjoying international travel and vacations during times that the company does not have events.
