Pi-xcels – Software Engineer Intern

At Pi-xcels, our mission is to eliminate paper receipts and empower physical retailers to improve customer experience and retail performance via our patented digital receipt solution and offline retail analytics platform.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for interns who are seeking to learn in various disciplines such as fullstack engineering, IoT engineering and mobile engineering.

Responsibilities

• Building Proof of Concepts (PoCs) or prototypes around our digital receipt technology/solution
• Suggesting improvements to our software development team with regards to our current web product and prototypes
• Conducting technical research and generating documentation
• Ensuring the reliability/stability of our prototypes/PoCs by performing testing and validation
• Assisting to diagnose operational issues or defects faced with our deployed applications

Requirements

• Current university student undergoing a related computer science / computer engineering course
• Committed individual who can thrive in an environment with little to no supervision
• Any other related ad-hoc assignments
