Job Description

The Intern’s role is to assist and support the day to day running of client campaigns and the successful operation of the office. The position is seen by the Company primarily as a training role which will hopefully lead to more senior positions if both the employee’s aptitude and the vacancy allows.

In terms of your “day to day” duties specifically, you will be expected:

· To undertake proactive media pitching

· Work with the Managing Director to coordinate executive interviews, media events and press conferences

· To help in the organisation of press functions and press trips

· To research any third party information on behalf of clients

· To help with ideas and information, contributing to the success and smooth running of the individual client campaigns

· To be responsible for the press cuttings resulting from our work for our clients

· To be responsible for the forward features planning and pitching on behalf of our clients

· To help distribute press releases on behalf of our clients

· To help compile and distribute monthly / quarterly reports on our activities for our clients

· To operate our filing systems

· To update press kits/press releases on behalf of our clients

· To be in charge of client images including distribution

· To be in charge of our stationery and brochure material on behalf of our clients, re-ordering as required

· To provide general research and administrative support including updates/maintenance of the media database

· To undertake any other duties requested by the Managing Director
