Job Description

Job Summary:

The incumbent supports in exploring, studying and synthetizing business opportunities in emerging markets of South East Asia, and ensuring smooth and efficient implementation of the department’s commercial strategy.

This position acts as a permanent liaison between the reporting manager, internal stakeholders and selected external parties, to assist the reporting manager in maintaining a proper business follow-up, in achieving shipments, net sales, business profit objectives, and in implementing brand development plans in key emerging markets.

In close contact with local distributors, the incumbent must develop strong communication, adaptability and organization skills.

 

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Assist in Laos Development

  • Work with local partners to execute brands development activities including events sponsorship briefing, support of material for branding development and BTL activation
  • Plan Facebook page content, work with local agency to ensure proper community management
  • Pro-actively communicate with Brand Companies in order to work out local activation opportunities in line with overall plan, and to make sure brand assets in market are in line with global brand guidelines
  • Coordinate new product launches with operations and finance teams
  • Business Development: ensure follow-up of commercial activities with key modern accounts (hotels) and prospects new customers

2. Assist in Myanmar Development

  • Work with local partners to execute brands development activities including events sponsorship briefing and coordination, support of material for branding development and BTL activation
  • Pro-actively communicate with Brand Companies in order to work out local activation opportunities in line with overall plan, and to make sure brand assets in market are in line with global brand guidelines
  • Coordinate new product launches with operations and finance teams
  • Business Development: ensure follow-up of commercial activities with key modern accounts (hotels) and prospects new customers
  • Execute the PR Wines Launch plan in collaboration with local agent and local media agencies: coordinate the implementation of BTL and digital activation plans with local partners

3. Ensure proper tracking of our business

  • In collaboration with local partners, produce monthly reports capturing overall environment, key monthly facts affecting the business, brand activities results, competitors activities, for Myanmar and Laos
  • Update sales/stocks reporting dashboards on a monthly basis
  • Keep various repertory files updated: marketing and merchandising databases, assortment file (changes of packaging, new launches, listings/delisting)

4. Responsible for the management of A&P for Laos and Myanmar

  • Work with commercial assistant to ensure detailed tracking and monitoring of A&P of both markets
