Job Description
You will be a key player in our core execution team, where you will engage in the complete cycle of corporate transaction execution, including:
- Preparing materials on transaction opportunities, including financial and valuation analysis
- Developing and presenting investment and business committee memoranda and presentations
- Supporting the execution of advisory transactions, running the entire transaction process from inception to completion.
This role will help you build expertise in key areas of principal investing, strategic advisory, and investment banking, and position you to evolve into a senior leader capable of independently generating and executing opportunities. Working closely with the senior team across the APAC region, you will gain hands-on exposure to real-time transactions. This role also includes travel to client and investor locations across the region, further enriching your professional experience.
Job Responsibilities
Supporting origination, structuring & execution of strategic advisory transactions across various products, including M&As, fundraising, venture investments, principal investments, and structured products
Liaising with internal and external parties on transaction execution process workstreams (e.g. lawyers, accountants, counterparties)
Educational Background
Bachelor's (with honours) or MBA from a top-tier university
Professional Experience
Previous experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with Southeast Asian markets and industries is an advantage.
Technical Expertise
Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques (DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, etc.) and an understanding of the M&A / fund raising transaction process are preferred.
Soft Skills
Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior professionals, clients, and key stakeholders.
Highly motivated, execution-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment and collaboratively in a team setting.
Analytical and problem-solving expertise, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
