About Sei Pâtisserie:

We are a homegrown bakery, with a focus on fully customised buttercream cakes and fondant decorations. As a company, we believe strongly in working, learning, and growing together.

Our team is expanding, but each of our Cake Artists / Cake Decorators / Pastry Chefs will continue to work closely with our Le Cordon Bleu -trained Head Pastry Chef.

Job Description

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Bake cakes and pastries (including, in particular, buttercream cakes) without supervision.
  • Decorate customised cakes in accordance with customers' requests and Head Pastry Chef's instructions.
  • Mould fondant decorations in accordance with customers' orders, independently and efficiently.

Our ideal candidate:

  • At least 1 to 2 years experience with cake preparations, baking, and frosting.
  • At least 1 to 2 years experience decorating customised cakes, including handling of fondant.
  • Responsible and able to work independently, with a keen awareness of timelines.
  • It is perfectly fine if your experience is home-based!
  • Advantageous but not a must: Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or Baking and Pastry Arts / management experience in a kitchen or bakery setting.
