While we have just opened Singapore's first specialty coffee employee store, PPP Coffee (web : https://pppcoffee.com // IG : ppp.coffee) at Funan, we also run our flagship cafe, Chye Seng Huat Hardware (web : http://www.cshhcoffee.com // IG : cshhcoffee) in the Jalan Besar hardware district. Chye Seng Huat Hardware (affectionately known as CSHH) features a roastery, cafe, retail store and coffee school housed under a beautifully conserved art deco shophouse. With an island bar adorning the premises, it allows a 360-degree view of our baristas showcasing their craft, and is a favourite with our regular customers. Service and Retail crew that join us get to experience working under 2 exciting brands, in the forefront of the specialty coffee scene in Singapore.
This is where visual merchandising takes centrefold and your natural talents in retail manifest. As a Retail Associate, you anchor the merchandising section of our cafe-retail concepts of Chye Seng Huat Hardware Coffee Bar and/or PPP Coffee Funan.
This is your best opportunity to learn what specialty coffee retail is about :
1) Engage customers telling our story, selling our locally roasted coffee beans;
2) Understanding customers needs through the evolution of our coffee capsule range;
3) Differentiate the myriad of methods of brewing coffee, whilst recommending brewing equipment and coffee paraphernali; and
4) Achieve service excellence in enriching the customer experience of coffee retail.
This is a role for you if you enjoy being meticulous with your coffee, and believe in completing the retail experience for the customer. As a specialty coffee company at heart, you will get to experience the atmosphere and vibe of a well-known, homegrown, coffee company and gain exposure to the various segments of the specialty coffee industry in Singapore.
