Based in our Shared Services Centre in Singapore, we are looking for a passionate and energetic individual to join us as Purchasing Assistant on a 6 months’ temporary position.
Job Responsibilities
Supports new projects and initiatives by carrying out collation, data entry and compilation of required information and data. The person will also need to follow up with suppliers and associates to ensure that the required information is obtained timely and completely in order to meet project timelines.
The Role
- Carry out collation, data entry and compilation of required information and data;
- Follow up with suppliers and associates to ensure that the required information is submitted timely and completely in order to meet project timelines;
- Articulate and explain rationale of projects to suppliers and associates when asked.
The Person
- Ability to take and perform instructions effectively and organize assigned tasks;
- A team player with positive work attitude and ability to perform under pressure;
- Ability to communicate effectively with associates and suppliers with good email and telephone etiquettes;
- Good working knowledge of MS Office suite;
- Meticulous with an eye for details;
- Able to commence work immediately or short notice is an advantage.
