Reporting to the Project Director, the Manager (Exhibition Producer) is responsible for producing, planning, managing and organising events with a bang! The Manager will be working with clients, vendors, and global consumer brands to execute forward thinking events for the FMCG and Web 3.0 industries to meet KPIs such as generating brand awareness, footfall traffic, and facilitating think tanks for industry thought leaders. Scope of work includes leading a team to conceptualise ideas for events, creating and enforcing budget, liaising with suppliers, communicating with clients and ensuring that the event is well executed.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with the client to understand and identify their wants, needs, and special requests for the event
  • Brainstorming and implementing exhibition concepts and theme in accordance with the preference of the client
  • Preparing exhibition budgets and maintain it to suit client’s needs
  • Researching and booking suitable venues to prepare it for the exhibition
  • Design a layout and agenda of the event; create event guides, website, tickets, and any other marketing activities to promote the event traditionally or digitally with the assistance of marketing executives
  • Hire key volunteers and manage staff
  • Booth management with partners
  • Address any dispute that may arise
  • Coordinating all logistical elements of the event
  • Work with and give guidance to volunteers and staff involved in exhibition planning and execution
  • Negotiate and contract with vendors and monitoring delivery of goods and services to ensure contract terms are satisfied
  • Managing set-up, tear-down, and clean-up operations
  • Anticipating attendee needs and making preparations against potential risks
  • Developing post-exhibition reports on the effectiveness of each event
  • Perform other related duties as may be assigned or requested by clients

Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities:

  • Experienced in exhibition / event organisation or management in related field with record of successful events
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Positive and outgoing personality
  • Strong leadership, negotiation and planning skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Attention to details and good problem solving skills
  • Creative, out of the box thinking
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and also lead the team by delegating tasks effectively
  • Expert time management skills
