This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an aspiring future Finance and Accounting practitioner to get a rare glimpse into the strategies and behind-the-scenes operations of a full-fledged Finance department of a large F&B Group.
You will be personally mentored by the Head of Department and gain exposure in various Finance operations. You will also be assigned to spearhead a milestone project that will genuinely impact staff members throughout the Group. By getting hands-on experience you will be able to understand and follow financial trends and practically apply your theoretical knowledge of financial laws and government policies in your day-to-day work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and practices for financial management, budget control, accounting etc.
- Assist in accounting matters and analytical assignments
- Assist in the preparation of monthly or weekly financial reports
- Be familiar with the Company’s financial accounting system
- Assist with statistical analysis and other special projects
- Present data-driven recommendations to the finance team
- Any other duties as assigned by Management
REQUIREMENTS
- Currently pursuing a Degree in Accounting/Finance or related discipline
- Passionate about numbers
- Familiarity with Accounting Systems is a plus
- Experience with MS Office and IT-savvy
- Able to multi-task with strong organisational skills
