Osaka Gas Energy Supply & Trading Pte Ltd – LNG Trade Data Analyst

Osaka Gas Energy Supply and Trading (“OGEST”), 100% subsidiary of Osaka Gas Co., Ltd. (“OGHQ”), is looking for a LNG Trade Data Analyst Intern for the Middle Office to join the company.

The Middle Office is responsible for appropriate and timely risk evaluation of trade activities as well as establishing the foundations of Finance, IT and Legal areas.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Processing of LNG trading data and vessel allocation data for interfacing with other systems
• Evaluation and validation of software and tools to support LNG trading (e.g. ship allocation optimization, algorithmic trading)
• Collaborate closely with Front Office Trading Team & Back Office Trade Accounting teams

COMPETENCIES & SKILLS REQUIRED 

• Knowledge in optimization methods (e.g. linear programming) and data analysis (e.g. correlation analysis, multivariate analysis of covariance structure)
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
• Possess a good working attitude, keen to learn, good team player with strong communication skills
• Detailed, well organized with excellent time management skills
• Meticulous Strong analytical skill with an eye for details to ensure minimum errors in work.
