Job Description

The Role

We are seeking interns who share our ambitious mission of rewarding one generation of business owners while empowering the next. As a core member of the founding team, you will work closely with the leadership team on high-impact corporate development initiatives that directly shape our business roadmap and drive strategic growth. You will have the opportunity to:

Investments

  • Support in the evaluation of potential acquisition opportunities, conducting preliminary outreach, and assessing strategic fit and value potential
  • Assist in screening and analysis of prospective acquisitions, including financial, commercial, and operational assessment to support investment decisions
  • Participate in the execution process across the entire deal lifecycle, including due diligence (commercial, legal, and financial), review of transaction documentation, and participate in commercial negotiations.
  • Build and refine financial models and internal investment materials such as investment memos, board papers, and valuation analyses for key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operating teams to understand target business models and post-acquisition value creation plans.

Corporate Development

  • Work closely with senior management to drive group-level strategic initiatives, including long-term roadmap development, market expansion strategies, and new business ventures
  • Assist with strategic fundraising and M&A-related initiatives, including merger analysis, investor targeting, and support of key workstreams such as data rooms, due diligence responses, and investor presentations
  • Contribute to business development efforts, including identifying strategic partnerships, assessing new market opportunities, and supporting the structuring and execution of commercial deals

Operational Finance

  • Assist in group-level financial reporting, alongside budgeting and forecasting for portfolio companies
  • Assist in maintaining financial controls and processes to ensure compliance, efficiency, and effective use of resources across portfolio companies
  • Provide support in consolidating group financial statements, working closely with portfolio finance teams and external accountants/auditors

What You Will Gain

  • Entrepreneurial Experience: Get direct exposure to the inner workings of a startup and learn what it takes to scale a business from the ground up
  • Leadership Opportunities: As a key part of a small team, you’ll have real influence and ownership over projects that shape our company’s growth
  • Dynamic Work Environment: Expect to wear many hats, pivot quickly, and embrace the excitement of building something from scratch
  • Results-Focused Culture: We prioritize outcomes over rigid schedules — trusting our team to take ownership and deliver great work, whether in the office or otherwise. What matters most to us is the impact you create.
  • Personal Development: We are deeply committed to empowerment, fostering autonomy, and investing in each individual’s growth. We strive to ensure that your role aligns with your personal values and supports the goals you aim to achieve during your time with us, making this experience both meaningful and enriching for your personal development journey

What You Should Bring

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s (or Masters) degree in Business or Economics at a university
  • Possess relevant internship experience across corporate finance, investment banking, corporate development, private equity or venture capital
  • Strong project management and financial modelling capabilities
  • Adequate knowledge in navigating databases and extracting key information
  • Experience and interest in working in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment
