OM Materials Pte. Ltd. – In-house Legal Advisor

OM Materials (S) Pte Ltd (“OMS”) is the Group’s marketing and procurement hub that operates out of Singapore.

Originally formed in the 90s focusing on the raw materials trade in China, OMS possesses an extensive trade network and an edge in connecting raw materials with buyers and users. Its scope and range of action has since evolved to a global scale, albeit retaining an Asian focus.

Based in Singapore, the division is active in ore and ferroalloy markets.

Collectively, the division leverages the economies of scale of the Group’s operations to streamline raw material procurement and product sales.

• Provide legal advice and support in M&A transactions, regular commercial operations, and corporate finance activities;
• Draft and review documents, and participate in negotiations;
• Advise senior management and the holding company Board;
• Coordinate with external legal counsels to address specific legal matters;
• Keep abreast of developments in legal practice and regulatory environment of relevant sectors;
• Support compliance initiatives, developing policies and training material, as well as conducting training.

Requirements:

• LL.B. or JD from reputable law school;
• 8-12 years relevant legal practice experience in multinational companies and/or law firms;
• Strong legal analytic skills and good business sense;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Able to manage complex transactions with multiple stakeholders on short deadlines.
