About the Role
Ocean Purpose Project is seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Cross Divisional Associate Intern to support projects and operations across multiple functions within the organization. This internship is ideal for individuals who are eager to gain broad exposure to sustainability initiatives, project management, stakeholder engagement, communications, and organizational operations.
As a Cross Divisional Associate Intern, you will work closely with various teams and contribute to a diverse range of projects that drive environmental and social impact. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop a well-rounded understanding of how a purpose-driven organization operates.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and operational support across different departments and projects.
- Assist in project planning, coordination, and execution of sustainability initiatives.
- Support stakeholder engagement activities, including communication and follow-ups.
- Conduct research and compile information to support organizational projects and strategic initiatives.
- Assist with event coordination, community engagement activities, and partnership initiatives.
- Prepare reports, presentations, meeting notes, and project documentation.
- Maintain project trackers, databases, and internal records.
- Collaborate with team members across various functions to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Support ad-hoc tasks and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Final-year student, recent graduate, or currently pursuing studies in Business, Communications, Sustainability, Social Sciences, Project Management, Environmental Studies, or related disciplines.
- Passionate about sustainability, ocean conservation, and social impact.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
- Comfortable working independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace is an advantage.
- Candidates based in Singapore will be preferred.
