NTUC Learning Hub Pte Ltd – Associate Trainer PDPA

NTUC LearningHub (LHUB™) was corporatised on 1 August 2004. Initially set up in 1982 as the NTUC Computer Training Centre, a division under the Skills Development Department of the NTUC Administration and Research Unit, the organisation has evolved to meet the burgeoning training needs of Singaporeans to continuously keep pace with the dynamic business economy.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver classroom training and conduct competency-based assessments
• Maintain own knowledge of data protection issues, information management and related legislation
• Create and/or maintain PDPA training materials
• Conduct training needs analysis and customised training materials for corporate customers

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree/Diploma of Law or equivalent qualification or significant relevant experience
• Comprehensive understanding of practical application of relevant legislation and official guidance relating to processing of personal data
• Holds one or more of the following certifications:
  • Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP)
  • Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM)
  • Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT)
• Possess relevant industry experience and at least 3 years of training experience
• Confidence in providing advice and training regarding data protection
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with clients at all levels
• Be certified in ACTA or ACLP
• Certified in DACE is advantageous
• Familiar with GDPR compliance and/or PDPC guidance or policies is a plus
• Basic IT knowledge regarding data storage, retrieval and security
