NTUC Income Insurance Co-operative Ltd – Summer Internship 2021 – Business Process Re-engineering

As part of the Business Excellence’s Centre of Excellence in Business Process Re-engineering, the intern will be responsible for process mapping and streamlining the end to end business process to reduce cycle times of completing the various business transactions.  

The intern will:

1. Develop analytical and critical thinking skills and apply it to achieve project goals such as improving work processes and cost savings
2.  Acquire knowledge of crafting a customer journey to identify potential improvements to enhance the customer experience
3. Gain experience in stakeholder management and hone the ability to connect with people and build trust

 Key Responsibilities:

• Analysis of data, document and present findings & insights of end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
• Support Project managers by working with stakeholders to develop materials such as briefings, presentations and guidelines
• Identify bottlenecks, streamline processes and define them into actionable roadmaps
• Optimize key digital journeys based on the experience that's right for the customer and aligned to business priorities
• Provide management communication on operational updates
• Presentation to head of BE-BPR that maps out the project from start to end, provide recommendations to improve the existing work  processes/customer journey. Overall, the presentation should communicate how the recommendations will lead to a more efficient work process and cost savings
