Job Description

Job Purpose

The Internship program focus on providing students with practical experience across the SSO function. The intern would play a role in supporting operational activities for Novartis clinical trials.

Major Accountabilities

  • Support the SSO team in study operations which would include but is not limited to participating in study start-up activities, preparing IRB submission dossiers, eTMF management, site management activities, initiation and close out activities.
  • Support the SSO team in functional operations which would include but is not limited to participating in process refinement exercises, tools creation, metrics review.
  • Any other SSO activities as assigned by the management.

Ideal Background

  • Current enrolment in an accredited University, majoring in Pharmacy or Life Sciences
  • Demonstrate high level of interest and willingness to learn in clinical trial operations
  • Good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Good command on healthcare and life science terminology
  • Computer literacy with knowledge of MS Office applications

  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Able to work within a multidisciplinary and multi-culturally team environment and independently as individual contributor.
  • Able to share concepts, ideas, information and suggestions with peers.
  • Able to manage multiple assignments and tasks, within tight timelines.

Part-time internship can be considered although full-time will be preferred.
