Type: Department, Clothing, & Shoe Stores / Retail
Worthwhile experience
Pros: - Good & healthy culture coupled with helpful and understanding colleagues - Broad exposure as an intern due to relatively small size of finance team - Able to gain a good understanding of the company's business and role I play within - Resources on hand to facilitate settling into role - A good degree of autonomy given to complete tasks & work on improvements - Elements of employee welfare are definitely present - Competitive intern allowance considering company's size
Cons: - Relatively small company means a somewhat steep learning curve (for me it's good-- subjective to individual's perception & outlook) - Career progression somewhat limited due to company's size - Office location does not offer wide variety of food-- some travelling required if you wish for a larger food variety outside a 400m radius
