Nimisski Fashion Pte Ltd – Designer Intern

You will be be responsible for: 

• Conduct thorough research on seasonal trends and designs, considering various factors such as age, gender, and socioeconomic status to identify target markets accurately. 
• Create compelling mood boards and presentations for the season and/or curated collections, effectively communicating the envisioned aesthetics and brand identity. 
• Demonstrate excellent sketching skills to produce both rough and detailed drawings of apparel or accessories. 
• Write comprehensive specifications encompassing colour schemes, construction techniques, material types, and accessory requirements. 
• Take charge of the sampling process, including meticulous documentation of tech sheets and coordinating with our factory partners for accurate drawing and cutting patterns. 
• Engage in the construction of samples or finished garments, ensuring impeccable attention to detail and quality control throughout the production process. 
• Foster design innovation by constantly exploring new ideas, techniques, and concepts, pushing the boundaries of creativity within the brand's vision. 
• Participate in the selection of fabric, trims, embellishments, and hems, considering their quality, availability, and alignment with design requirements. 
• Efficiently manage the scheduling and production of launches, overseeing timelines, and coordinating with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth execution. 
• Analyze past performance data and review collection performance, extracting insights to inform future design decisions and align with our brand's objectives. Able to execute fashion illustration.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in relevant design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite or other industry-standard tools. 

• Strong understanding of garment construction and manufacturing processes. 

• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines. 

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate design concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams. 

• Demonstrated passion for fashion and a keen eye for emerging trends and styles.

 • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, taking ownership of responsibilities and embracing challenges with enthusiasm.
