Operations Executive (Shipping) Job description
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for a full spectrum of shipping operations
- Manage shipments and coordinate with ship owners and charterers to ensure smooth loading and discharging operations
- Handle demurrage / claims / disputes
- Timely invoicing and follow up for payments
- Foster and maintain good relationships with ship owners and charterers.
Requirements:
- Min. Diploma holder
- Able to converse in Mandarin
- Minimum 2 years working experience in a bulk specialized liquids shipbroking/Shipping company
- Able to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
- Able to work after office hours remotely
- Good interpersonal and communications skills
- Independent and a team player with initiative and willingness to learn
