Team Information

As part of the drive to attain NVPC’s vision of a City of Good, Company of Good was established in 2016 to help companies drive purpose. Companies engage with Company of Good to understand their profile, build their knowledge, capability and network, and partner with other like-minded businesses to do good. The Company of Good network has grown to more than 2,000 corporate members since its inception.

With the upcoming new developments in the Company of Good, we are offering an exciting opportunity for a passionate, driven individual who has the right purpose and aptitude to create impact to serve community and societal needs at a national level. This person should share the belief that corporates can be a powerful source of support to build greater social resilience for Singapore.

Programme

Champions of Good was launched in 2017 as a national recognition initiative under the Company of Good. It recognises organisations that are exemplary in doing good and have also been a multiplier by engaging their partners and stakeholders on a collaborative journey.

With the success of Champions of Good to date in 2020, we have conferred a total of 97 unique Champions of Good and we aspire to grow the community of Champions. Together, we can build a City of Good.

Learning Opportunities

  • Direct engagement with top companies and prominent business executives in Singapore that are driving good in their business practices
  • Gain first-hand understanding of the measurement and standard of good CSR and sustainability practices by companies in Singapore
  • Learn about the innovative ways that companies in Singapore have undertaken to multiply their efforts in doing good through their customers, employees and business partners
  • Receive behind-the-scene insights and get hands-on experience on running a national recognition initiative
  • Strengthen project management, research and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the planning and execution of the Champions of Good 2022 through its various stages (outreach and publicity, recruitment, application and selection, research and due diligence, analysis and review, judging, conferment and recognition)
  • Coordinating meetings and follow-ups amongst the stakeholders
  • Researching and performing due diligence on companies’ performance in the CSR and sustainability practices
  • Documenting and preparing the agenda and material for presentation to high-level decision-makers and judges
  • Managing timelines and ensuring
  • Supporting marketing duties for Champions of Good 2022 and other CoG Marketing initiatives
  • Any ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time relating to programs under ‘Company of Good’

Requirements

  • Min. Diploma (candidates with relevant experiences are welcomed to apply)
  • Keen interest in working with businesses
  • Research and analytical skills
  • Communication and writing skills
  • Event planning and management skills
