National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre – Intern, Knowledge & Insights

The National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) is the steward of the City of Good vision for Singapore, where individuals, organisations, and leaders come together to give their best for others. Through our brands, programmes, and initiatives, we facilitate partnerships with non-profits, organisations, public sector bodies, and individuals to enliven the giving ecosystem within Singapore. You will primarily support the team during fieldwork. Your duties and responsibilities include:

• Take detailed notes during interviews
• Project management (e.g. participant recruitment and scheduling, communications with vendors, etc.)
• Transcribe some recorded interviews
• Support the team in analysing interview data

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student studying Humanities and Social Sciences, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology or other related fields
• Some knowledge in social science research methods and practices
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Meticulous and detail-oriented
• A keen interest in social issues and/or non-profit space
• Looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
