Team Info

Team’s role is to provide the governance function within NVPC through the use of strategies and policies.
The key desired outcomes of the team are:

  • to manage the expectation of internal and external stakeholders by providing the management of sound policy and procedures within NVPC
  • to understanding the external environment, trends and developments and implications on the organisation’s strategy
Job Description

One of the key projects on governance at NVPC is the enhancement of the Policy Register, which is the primary process of ensuring that the assertions existence and completeness in managing the policies that reside in NVPC. The objectives are to improve the governance framework of NVPC, improve visibility of key policies and procedure, identify gaps due to outdated or absent policies and promote efficacy and effectiveness within NVPC with regard to accountability. The student will be involved in the drafting of policies and procedures, which includes understanding the priorities of various teams, how they fit into the organisational strategy, and working with these team members in the policy and procedure development.

Responsibilities 

  • Ensure that the policies and procedures are consistently written by maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Attend meetings with the Strategy & Policy team
  • Collect information to ensure that policies and procedures to be written or written are complete and accurate
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as directed by the Manager of Strategy & Policy

Requirements

  • 3rd year polytechnic students or undergraduates majoring in Business Administration or Accountancy
  • Possess logical and critical thinking
  • Comfortable with working remotely
  • Independent
