Nala Designs is a Malaysian lifestyle brand founded in 2009 by Lisette Scheers, specialising in hand-drawn pattern design rooted in Asian culture and heritage. The brand's designs are translated across a wide range of products, including clothing (notably its festive cheongsam and Raya collections), accessories, home living pieces such as tablecloths, pillowcases, table runners, and totes, as well as stationery and gift items. Each design is hand-illustrated and produced in considered quantities, reflecting the brand's emphasis on craft, intention, and slow design over mass production.
Nala has since expanded beyond its Kuala Lumpur roots, with a recent launch in Singapore and a growing following across the region for its distinctive aesthetic that blends nostalgia, colour, and contemporary lifestyle design.
Retail Assistant
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Retail Assistant to support our daily store operations. The role combines in-store customer service with delivery and collection duties at customer locations across Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve customers in-store and assist with enquiries
- Handle sales transactions and cashier duties
- Pack items and prepare customer orders
- Reply to customer messages and enquiries (online and offline)
- Perform deliveries, collections, and on-site packaging at customer locations
- Maintain store cleanliness and organise product displays
- Support operations at other store locations when required
Requirements
- Willing and able to travel within Singapore for deliveries and collections
- Comfortable with packing, delivery, and face-to-face customer handovers
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Responsible, reliable, and well-organised
- Basic computer and smartphone proficiency
- Able to work retail hours, including weekends when required
