The founder and CEO, Emelie Hedén lived in Singapore for six years and worked in the furniture industry. Ellen, the younger sister of Emelie has been on board since day one and will eventually have same responsibilities as Emelie but act as the creative director of Möbler.

Job Description

The Intern

We are looking for someone with a passion for design, styling and decor, but who also like e-commerce. You like to have room to take initiative and look to make things happen. You are not afraid to dig in, whether it be literally be worn when necessary stuff, or if there is anything that is not explicitly included in your information but which has been lying. MÖBLER are new start up business (we are two people working on this full time) and then it is important that everyone helps with what needed to be done.


The Marketing Intern will be responsible for assisting  in research, development and implementation of their marketing and public relations plans. This will be accomplished through developing , maintaining and expanding marketing channels/methodologies to the industry and public at large. They will assist with marketing strategies, contact local business for networking opportunities and research/take the initiative to find and participate in local festivals and events. The Marketing Intern would also be responsible in finding and contacted bloggers and editors for featuring opportunities. And also send blasts, contact interior designers, contact with media, contact with magazines, look up with sponsors.

It will also include task such as:

  • admin tasks from sales & sales supports. 
  • Reading, monitoring and responding email
  • Answering calls and liaising with clients competently
  • Preparing correspondence
  • Organising travel and preparing complex travel itineraries
  • Attending meetings 
  • Planning, organizing and managing events
  • Conducting research
  • Typing documents
  • Sourcing and ordering stationery and office equipment
  • Managing projects


In return you will get a lot of freedom with responsibility and own projects to be responsible for. There are great opportunities for you to shape your internship and use your data as case studies and references in the future.
