We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Executive to join us and build Mitrade’s social media presence!
You will be responsible for implementing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engage with our target audience, and drive user acquisition. You will work closely with the social media team to create compelling content, manage social media accounts, and analyze performance metrics. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for social media and a keen interest in the financial trading industry.
As an online trading platform, Mitrade sees social media as a key integral pillar to enhance our business growth, acquire customers, engage our audience and build our presence, and not just as a “supplement” to other forms of “physical” marketing and branding.
What you will do:
- Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand visibility and drive user acquisition.
- Conceptualize and copywrite engaging and informative content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
- Ensuring social media collaterals are reflective of standards while conducting frequent audits and content hygiene maintenance.
- Manage and monitor social media accounts, including scheduling posts, responding to comments and messages, and maintaining a consistent brand voice.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and provide regular reports to track the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices, and recommend innovative strategies to enhance our social media presence.
- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in the financial trading industry and incorporate relevant information into social media content.
What we are looking for:
- Preferably 1+ years of experience of marketing experience in handling copywriting and social media roles
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing (or related) is preferred. Graduate degree in a related field is desirable
- Excellent copywriting skills, proficient in optimizing copies for social media
- Experience in finance/investment/trading
- Familiarity with financial trading concepts and terminology is a plus
- Familiar with social media landscape and digital marketing channels/tools
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and analytics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and persuasive content
- Basic experience in visual direction and content creation
- Basic knowledge of editing programs and tools. Programs include, but not limited to Adobe Software Suite and Canva
- Strong linguist with effective English literacy
