Minto Studios offers creative visual concepts that harness the power of visual media from photography, video productions, live-streaming, to studio rental. With many forms of visual media to communicate with your audience, our clients find trouble figuring out which media to use for what purpose, when do they use it and how do they do it?

From short-form social videos to TVCs to live productions, we work closely with our clients & partners to find the best direction forward. With our professional production capabilities & resources, we bring them to their desired destination.

Minto Studios is expanding, and we need interns who can assist our team in meeting our growing demand for corporate/commercial photography & video productions. You will have the opportunity to work with various media production projects and have a say in how our clients’ stories are told in the visual format. This can be in one or a combination of different visual media solutions & social media. We hope that in this role, the intern will be able to explore their creative boundaries and achieve personal growth and direction in their interest in media, together with us.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning, shooting, and editing of social media videos and podcast episodes
• Assist in the preparation and setup of photoshoots
• Be involved in different productions as Photography Assistant, Production Assistant, Gaffer, Camera Assistant, or Coordinator based on your skillsets
• Pack up equipment and tools for different projects
• Assist in either photo or video editing
• For video editing - preparation of graphics, lower thirds, logos etc.
• For photo editing - cropping, cleaning, adjustments etc.
• Understand the macro and micro of each production, learn to organise and make important arrangements.
• Contribute to the creative process by providing input and ideas for content development.
• Assist in managing and organising media files and assets
• The above will be required based on project requirements.

Requirements:

• Student of Media-related Degree/Diploma preferred
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suites (Photoshop / Premiere Pro / After Effects) or any other video editing and photography softwares (Adobe Lightroom / Photoshop / Capture One)
• Understanding of the basics of photography and/or videography (Framing and composition / camera movement placement / focus / white balance / exposure)
• Able to handle camera equipment proficiently
• Good production etiquette, and respects your teammates
• Hardworking, responsible, and possess a positive attitude
