MindChamps Allied Care @ East Coast is an integrated Therapy and Early Intervention Centre for kids with developmental delays and/or learning challenges, such as ADHD, Autism, Global Developmental Delay, Speech/Language Delay, Feeding/Swallowing issues, Cerebral Palsy, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia, Dyspraxia, and more.

We use evidence-based practice, an integration of research evidence with clinical expertise and the child’s values and preferences, to achieve improved therapy outcomes. Our Team strongly believes in working closely with the child’s family and other partners to support the child’s development.

Besides therapy sessions, assessments or full diagnosis, we also conduct Early Intervention Programme classes.

Job Description

Responsibilities

· To assist main class teacher in managing challenging children using appropriate behavioural strategies.

· To assist in teaching appropriate mealtime behaviour and supervise play times.

· To assist the main class teachers in toileting needs of the children (bringing the children to the toilet).

· Prepare age and developmentally appropriate teaching aids.

· Responsible for the upkeep of teaching resources, prepare art and craft materials, arrangement, appearance, decorations, and learning environment of the classroom.

· Use positive discipline techniques at all times.

· Maintain and build relationships with children.


Requirements

· Creative and inspiring with loving energy

· Excellent communication skills

· Passionate with working with children with special needs

· Certificate / Fundamental in Early Childhood Care & Education or Special Needs Education is an advantage
