MGG Software Pte Ltd – Technical Lead

Established in 1997, MGG is a Singapore-based software house with offices in Singapore and Indonesia.

Our team of engineers and project executives are driven by a passion to apply new technology knowledge to the development of software solutions for clients, especially in the space of mobile apps and backend systems.

Through the years, MGG has worked on a wide spectrum of industry-based projects and served a number of SMEs and large organisations locally and overseas.

Our efforts include developing national-level apps and backend systems for fintech and e-payment, mobile learning platforms for local agencies, and consumer products like radio streaming (and soon to develop instant chat messaging) for a local media organisation.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead a team of developers to deliver projects and change requests for client projects
2. Responsible for development planning, solutioning, implementing and maintaining frontend / backend applications systems
3. Oversee and direct the day-to-day development and maintenance activities using Agile and DevOps tools
4. Monitoring and incident manage performance of business-critical systems to prevent delays and outages; take a hands-on approach to quickly resolve ongoing issues
5. Engagement with top management and clients for requirements and updates

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Infocomm Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems

• Proficient in leading integrated teams, as well as coordinating and communicating customer requirements

• Hands-on experience and is proficient in:

• JavaScript (Vanilla, ReactJS, VueJS)

• NodeJS, Springboot

• MSSQL, MongoDB

• Pipelines (Gitlab, Bitbucket)

• Azure, AWS, GCP

• Good understanding of Design and Architecture Patterns

• Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Experience working with remote teams
