The successful intern will gain first-hand experience of working in a leading global real estate fund manager. They will be working within the Asia Life Fund (ALF) team with a wide range of projects related to real estate investment, fund management, portfolio analysis, reporting, and other tasks as needed.

- Accountable for delivering a quality service and product to customers and stakeholders
- Focuses on quality of delivery to achieve clear outputs within guidelines and precedent
- Runs the organisation's processes and systems following pre-defined procedures
- Adapts to change, responds with initiative and make suggestions for improvements to own work and processes
Key Responsibilities for this role:
The successful intern is expected to assist the ALF team with:
- Managing in-house asset / pipeline databases and portfolio monitoring dashboards
- Monitoring and reporting asset/portfolio performance including undertaking attribution analyses
- Preparing drafts of investor reports and bespoke reporting suites
- Supporting in analysis of investment/divestment opportunities and analysing impact on portfolio
- Preparing investment papers, minutes, action plans and reports
- Updating presentation materials for investors
- Ad-hoc projects related to upgrading internal management information systems
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
The successful intern should be a self-starter who has the ability to use their own initiative and work with individuals across different teams in the organisation.
- Strong technical skills and superior knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience, aptitude and dexterity with statistics and computer databases and spreadsheet programs
- Excellent quantitative analysis and computer skills
- Logical thinker and strong analytical skills, identifies problems and causes, collecting relevant information and identifying possible solutions
- Educational background in economics, real estate, finance or business is preferred
